What a great Japanese food experience!
We were their first guests after spending many months getting the restaurant ready and for us, it was well worth the wait!
First off, the space is beautiful and comfortable. They did a great job with the remodel. There are a lot of different dining areas and seating options, the restaurant is well lit, with artistic touches like two giant fish hanging from the ceiling in the back room, and even when it was over 100F (38C), the restaurant was cool and pleasant. And the chairs are very comfortable, which is a plus when we're going to be sitting eating for as long as we did here at Iki.
Next up is the food, and wow did that not disappoint us! This is all-you-can-eat, so once you pull the menu up on your phone, you simply order whatever you want and within a few minutes, it arrives at your table.
The price for lunch at this time is 17 Euros and was such a bargain considering how big and diverse the menu is and how fresh and delicious the food is. (We tried just about every salmon, chicken, and shrimp dish they offer, plus teriyaki chicken, poke bowl, fried rice, seaweed salad, and several others I am forgetting, because we were able to order so many dishes and the menu is so extensive. All were excellent, with the salmon, chicken, fried rice, and seaweed salad all being some of the best we have ever had. And for dessert, the pistachio cheese cake and sesame rice balls were spot on and really hit the spot!
Finally, the staff was super helpful, especially considering we do not yet speak Portuguese very well and we've never ordered from a phone app. They checked in on us frequently and made sure we were happy with everything.
My understanding is that Iki Sushi has another shop in Torres Novas so no surprise that they did a great job right from the very first moment they opened their doors, but we were still surprised at just how good they are. Iki Sushi is a welcome addition to the old town and is a restaurant we look forward to visiting regularly.- Serviço

The best place to have sushi in Tomar. Loved it and will definitely come back! It's an all you can eat buffet and with also great quality.

Superb service, fresh and amazing sushi variations, along with some hot items, like stir fries, tempuras and noodle dishes. The rice was perfectly balance with the nigri and other sushi staples. Lots of variety and thankfully a minimal use of mayonnaise and cream cheese(Philadelphia)
You must order through the OR code while on their wifi. Very easy to navigate and the staff is helpful throughout the process. It is all you can eat buffet style where you order and it comes to your table.
It was opening night, so a few of our items NJ needed to be reordered but everything was fresh and well prepared.
Standout dish was the dragon balls and the gunkan, but that said, I would reorder everything again.
A small addition to my original review after my second visit. Quality still exceptional but wish the descriptions of the items on the QR menu explained what is in the item.

What a wonderful place for sushi. The place was spotless and the service was above par. Once you get the hang of ordering, the all-you-can-eat dinner is amazing. Some of the freshest and tastiest fish I've ever had.

I can confidently say it was the best sushi I've ever had! The quality, temperature, and care taken with the sushi are reflected in the taste, along with the super fast and helpful service, which pays great attention to feedback. Iki offers a stunning, modern space with Asian decor befitting the cuisine. The presentation of the dishes is a spectacle in itself, and the tableware and attention to detail make for a perfect experience from start to finish. I hope they maintain this quality so we can enjoy places of this caliber—the region was lacking it! The highlights were the speed, freshness of the fish, and the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. I plan to return for even more.

Excellent endroit pour partager un sushi à deux! Produits de qualités et très bien confectionnés. C’est une carte digital avec commande à volonté. Service très rapide et personnel aux petits soins! Dommage qu’il n’y ai pas de musique pour une ambiance plus chaleureuse. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
